Wee Can Sign Presentations

Sign Language Presentations are held each month at Family to Family Connection, West, located at 6114 West Charleston Blvd.

Sign Language for Babies (Newborns up to 12 months) class includes research about brain development and language development in the first three years of life, and how to effectively communicate with preverbal babies by incorporating Sign Language into your daily activities.

Sign Language for Toddlers (ages 1 - 4 years) class includes learning new ASL Signs using books, songs, nursery rhymes and toys. This age continues to be the most critical time of brain growth and development. Signing with your toddler provides exceptional stimulation for multiple areas of the brain.

Family to Family Connection is a statewide, non-profit organization offering parenting classes and activities such as Baby Sign Language, Dance for Tots, Arts and Crafts, Parent Effectiveness Training, Developmental Screenings, Baby and Toddler Nutrition. Other services include Breastfeeding Support, Infant CPR, Car Seat Safety Checks and Resource Lending Library.

Wee Can Sign Workshops are available for Moms groups, Professionals and Child Care Facilities. Classes have been approved by the Nevada Registry for training hours for child care providers.
